LEGENDA WADU NTANDA RAHI: SEBUAH KAJIAN STRUKTURALISME GENETIK

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji sebuah karya sastra yang dibangun dari sebuah legenda Bima bertajuk “Wadu Ntanda Rahi” yang terjemah bahasa Indonesianya yaitu “Batu Melihat Suami.” Penelitian ini menggunakan teori strukturalisme genetik dengan mema-sukan faktor genetik dalam memahami karya sastra sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan secara teoretis maupun praktis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran Legenda Bima Wadu Ntanda Rahi dalam perspektif strukturalisme genetik yang dicetuskan oleh Goldmann. Adapun jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilaku-kan dengan observasi, studi lapangan dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menun-jukan Wadu Ntanda Rahi mengandung unsur karya sastra berdasarkan 4 kategori struk-tural genetik yaitu kategori fakta kemanusiaan, kategori produk subjek kolektif, kategori pandangan dunia dan kategori struktur sosial. Dalam legenda ini, empat kategori tersebut “telah menjadi bagian kehidupan masyarakat suku Mbojo (Bima) sejak dahulu hingga saat ini.

Abstract: This research examines a literary work built from a legend of Bima titled “Wadu Ntanda Rahi” which translates indonesian namely “Batu Menanti Suami.” This research used the theory of genetic structuralism by incorporating genetic factors in understanding literary works so that it can be utilized theoretically as well as practically. The purpose of this research is to find out the picture of the Legend of Bima Wadu Ntanda Rahi in the perspective of genetic structuralism insanized by Goldmann. The type of research was qualitative. Data collection methods were carried out by observation or field studies and literature studies. The results of this study showed that Wadu Ntanda Rahi contained elements of literary works based on 4 categories of genetic structural namely the category of human facts, the product category of the collective subject, the category of world view and the category of social structure. In this legend, the four categories have been part of the life of the Mbojo (Bima) people since long ago until now.
